Directed Art

I can offer two distinct kinds of artwork. The first are directed pieces, where I begin with a image in mind, and draw towards that goal. These are usually of specific, requested things — very often animals. Commissioned drawings of this sort begin at $125 for fairly simple drawings like the squirrel, and goes up from there based on complexity and time. You can also purchase copies of existing drawings for $15.

Freeform Art

I also create artwork that does not begin with a specific direction. Rather, the drawing begins with random shapes and lines, where the pen goes where it wants on the page. As the drawing builds, shapes will sometimes come to the fore, and then I follow from whatever designs the images shows me. Sometimes the result is clear and identifiable. Sometime it feels like there is nothing there but a whorl of lines.

Here are a number of examples of this type of work. These are also available for purchase at $15 each. Beyond these, I have a substantial catalogue which I am currently working to digitize and make available. All of these are available for purchase as prints, on mugs, t-shirts, or almost anything else.
